The Bureau of International Youth Tourism "Sputnik" began working in 1958 as the only youth tour operator. Over the years of its activity, BMMT Sputnik has won one of the leading places in the tourism market. Today there are 116 representative offices of the company in the world.

In Belarus, the structure of CJSC "Belarusian Sputnik" is an enterprise of republican significance with branches in all regional centers in the form of ALC "BMMT Sputnik" and since 2004 has the status of a leading center for organizing youth tourism in the republic.

The founders of CJSC “Belarusian Sputnik” are: Minsk City Executive Committee, NGO “Belarusian Republican Youth Union”, State Enterprise “Aqua-Minsk”, Joint Stock Company “Sputnik” of Moscow.

For almost 60 years, the company has maintained the best traditions and continuity in the organization of tourism and recreation.
